Charles Luhanga on dangers of human trafficking


The National Prosecution Authority says the sentencing of seven Chinese nationals will bolster their fight against human trafficking in the country. The four men and three women were each sentenced to 20 years’ imprisonment by the High Court in Johannesburg. They were arrested during a raid in 2019 following a tip-off about the group’s alleged involvement in the trafficking of illegal immigrants to South Africa.Chairperson and co-founder of Fula Africa, Charles Luhanga, joins us now.
