Case against Dumisani Khumalo, co-accused postponed


The case against Crime Intelligence head Lieutenant-General Dumisani Khumalo and six others has been postponed to September 2026, pending the outcome of representations to the National Director of Public Prosecutions.

Khumalo and his co-accused appeared before the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court on Friday in connection with fraud and corruption charges.

The case relates to the alleged appointment of an unqualified civilian within the SAPS’s Crime Intelligence division.
