Career day for law students at Stellenbosch University

The ability of South Africa’s Constitution to improve the lives of millions of citizens who live in abject poverty, was one of the major issues that was raised during a gathering of current and future legal experts in Stellenbosch.

As South Africa commemorates Nelson Mandela Month and the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution, the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development, in partnership with Stellenbosch University, hosted a Career Day that brought together law students from universities across the Western Cape, distinguished members of the legal profession, the justice system, academia, government and leading law firms.
