Cape Town housing crisis | More delays as backlog persists

Cape Town has distributed more state-funded houses than any other metro in the country over the last five years. However, there are still 440,000 people on the city’s waiting list. Among them are those waiting for the completion of a R300-million Gugulethu project that was slated for completion in 2019.
