Cape Town Gangs | Police Minister wants SAPS to redouble anti-gang effort
Acting Police Minister Firoz Cachalia has started his week-long visit to the gang-ravaged Western Cape. Cachalia has met with police management and several civil society stakeholders. His message to the police is to concentrate all available resources to confront the gang problem in the Western Cape. eNCA’s Ayesha Ismail reports that bringing in the army is not an option for the Minister.
