Candidates pull out of upcoming LA mayoral debate as contest heats up
We are learning more as Mayor Karen Bass faced intense scrutiny during the first televised mayoral debate in Los Angeles. Reality star Spencer Pratt traded personal barbs with the Mayor, taking aim at her over her absence during the devastating 2025 Palisades Fire. We are also learning that an upcoming mayoral debate has collapsed after Nithya Raman joined Karen Bass and Spencer Pratt in pulling out. Organizers at the Pat Brown Institute said this week that the debate scheduled for Wednesday was being put on hold due to the three major candidates now being unavailable.
