Businesswoman maximising sweet potato’s profitability

Business acumen can be sharpened into agriculture through innovation and sustainability.

This is well demonstrated by the 32-year-old Rethabile Ngwenya from Jourberton in Klersdorp, in the North West Province.

The founder of Reaoboka Agribusiness & Projects has created various products from sweet potato.

Among them a sweet potato coffee, where she uses strictly sweet potatoes instead of coffee beans.

She says this can help prevent diseases caused by caffeine, like heart related conditions.
