Bushy Maape | Funeral arrangements to be announced

Messages of condolences continue to pour in for the family, friends and colleagues of former North West Premier, Bushy Maape.

Maape died in Johannesburg last night, at the age of 68 after a short illness.

He was appointed premier of the province from 2021 untill 2024 after taking over from Professor Job Mokgoro.

Mourners described Maape as a courageous leader who was principled and ethical.
