Broos makes 4 changes in Panama friendly

Bafana Bafana suffered their first defeat on home soil under Hugo Broos after going down 2-1 to Panama at a sold-out DHL Stadium on Tuesday night. Hugo Broos made four changes from Friday’s draw in Durban as Mbekezeli Mbokazi, Bongokuhle Hlongwane, Jayden Adams and Relebohile Mofokeng were all recalled to the starting line-up, while Lyle Foster kept his place in the attack. South Africa enjoyed a lot of the possession in the early parts of the first half, Panama, however, nearly took the lead against the run of play on 29 minutes when Adalberto Carrasquilla did well to carve out some space before picking out Ismhael Diaz, who steered his header straight into the arms of goalkeeper Ronwen Williams.
