BREAKING: US military launches ‘defensive’ strikes against Iran

According to officials, the strike was carried out in response to Iran firing at a U.S. aircraft this evening. Reports indicate that Qeshm Island is the location of an underground missile site, a naval base, and a major desalination plant. Officials are quoted as saying that the strike was “defensive” and made in response to Iran firing first. They went on to say that this action does not indicate a return to U.S. military strikes on Iran.
