Bondi terror attack interim report shows ‘all signs of a whitewash’
Former Queensland premier Campbell Newman says the interim report on the Bondi terror attack is showing “all signs of a whitewash”.
“What we need is political will from the top, and we need public servants in senior positions to drive the necessary outcomes,” Mr Newman told Sky News host Steve Price.
“For two years, we watched … with horror what was going on in the streets of Australia and for two years, people in authority in Australia let it run.
“This interim report, as far as I’m concerned, is showing all the signs of a whitewash.”
