BMW recalls over 10,000 vehicles in Australia over fire risk
More than 10,000 BMWs have been recalled in Australia over a fire risk.
Several models have a defective motor switch that the company says can cause increased wear and an internal short circuit.
It could result in the driver being unable to start the engine or cause the engine to overheat and catch fire
Affected BMW drivers are being encouraged to take their cars to an authorised dealer and have the starter motor replaced for free.
