Black Sea In Flames; Russia’s AI-Powered Drones Wreak Havoc On Ukrainian Ports, Cargo Ships
Russia has announced a fresh wave of drone strikes targeting Ukrainian ports, cargo ships and maritime infrastructure in the Black Sea. According to Russia’s Defense Ministry, the attacks hit port facilities in Chornomorsk and Mykolaiv, as well as several cargo vessels and two CB90 fast attack boats. Moscow also released footage claiming its Geran-family kamikaze drones struck tugboats, a cargo vessel and the Antigua & Barbuda-flagged bulk carrier Venturo, which Russia alleges was carrying military cargo. Russian officials say the campaign is aimed at disrupting Ukraine’s military logistics and preventing weapons shipments through Black Sea ports. These claims have not been independently verified, and Ukraine has not publicly commented on the latest announcement.
