In a rare lighthearted moment amidst ongoing high school demonstrations across France, a police officer in Mâcon stunned student protesters by stepping up to participate in a viral “aura battle.” The trend—popularized on social media platforms like TikTok—involves participants facing off in improvised, stylized dance-offs and social pose battles to project maximum “aura.” As students gathered near school blockades on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, to demonstrate against school conditions, the officer performed a stylized haka stance, drawing wild cheers, applause, and chants from the crowd. Footage of the impromptu showdown posted by user @gb_rl._ quickly accumulated hundreds of thousands of views online.
