Beitbridge Border truck congestion clearing up
The long queue of commercial trucks on the N1 and at the Beitbridge Border Post near Musina in Limpopo, has started moving.
The queue now stretches for about eight kilometers as compared to the previous 20 kilometers which was reported over the weekend.
This follows meetings between South African and Zimbabwean authorities in an effort to ease the congestion.
The congestion was apparently caused by screening delays on the Zimbabwean side of the border.
Truck drivers who are currently waiting to cross the border have raised concerns about their safety.
