Barberton | Teaching and learning disrupted at three schools
Teaching and learning has been disrupted at three schools at Emjindini Trust near Barberton in Mpumalanga since Monday. Parents shut down Chief Funwako Secondary School, citing overcrowding and dilapidated infrastructure. They claim some classrooms have up to 98 learners, a situation they say has contributed to poor academic performance. Chief Funwako Secondary is the only secondary school in the area.
