Australian farmers call for monetary aid amid fuel crisis threat
Australian farmers warned that if they do not receive monetary aid, the nation may face global food shortages and higher cost-of-living pressures.
The Victorian Farmers Association is calling on the government to agree to $1.3 billion in fuel crisis payments for all primary producers.
RLF AGTech Chief Executive Stuart Upton spoke on the crisis, saying, “this is like a whole new world that needs a different way of navigating, and it’s by far one of the most complex that I’ve experienced”.
