Australian doctors speak out about race to save conjoined twin from PNG | ABC NEWS
Australian doctors who saved a conjoined twin from Papua New Guinea have spoken about the challenging case and the lengths they went to save baby Sawong. Sawong Kevin was born in remote Papua New Guinea in October 2025 and was attached to his brother, Tom, at the chest, abdomen and pelvis. They were flown to Port Moresby for care, but the country’s underfunded health system did not have the means to surgically separate them. Eventually, the twins were flown to Australia for urgent surgery. Subscribe: http://ab.co/1svxLVE
