Australia must look at making fertiliser using domestic gas reserves

Grattan Institute Energy Senior Fellow Tony Wood claims Australia should look into making fertilisers sourced from domestic gas reserves.

“Something we could do much more easily and that is increase the extent to which we make the fertiliser from our own natural gas in Australia,” Mr Wood told Sky News Australia.

“We’ve definitely got lots of natural gas.”
