ARENA SPORTS SHOW | ‘Why must you stand on the ball,’ asks Pirates legend Tebogo Moloi
The topic of showboating has taken centre stage in the country after Orlando Pirates coach Abdeslam Ouaddou said he is not coaching the Harlem Globetrotters.
Ouaddou has repeatedly spoken out against his players showing skills on the field and youngster Mpho Padime was at it again last weekend in the closing stages of their league win over Marumo Gallants.
In studio to talk about this controversial issue in the 123rd episode of the Arena Sports Show, Clauiee Grace Mpanza and Mahlatse Mphahlele are joined by Pirates legend Tebogo Moloi.
Moloi said he agrees with Ouaddou that there is no need for players to stand on top of the ball but he doesn’t not like the term showboating because it belittles South Africans.
