Any new disputes in Negri must be referred to unity govt top leadership, says Fahmi

Any new issues in Negri Sembilan that could trigger sensitivities or disputes should be referred to the top leadership of the unity government, said government spokesman Datuk Fahmi Fadzil.

According to Fahmi, the Cabinet meeting on Wednesday (May 6) was informed that the unity government in Negri Sembilan remains under the leadership of Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun and any issues that arise after this will be referred to the top leadership.

Asked if the 14 Umno assemblymen in Negri Sembilan still support Aminuddin as Mentri Besar, Fahmi said the decision by the unity government now is that the status quo remains in the state.
