Anwar responds to Hulu Langat MP’s jibe over Siti Nurhaliza concert attendance
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said he attended Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza’s ‘Gema Bumantara’ concert at the personal invitation of the singer and her husband, despite not being a fan.
Responding to a quip from Hulu Langat MP Mohd Sany Hamzan in the Dewan Rakyat on Tuesday (Oct 20), he said her performance helps uplift local arts and culture.
