Anwar launches Paduri Madani Scheme to empower 29,000 B40 women entrepreneurs


Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim launched the Paduri Madani Scheme to help create 29,000 women entrepreneurs from the lower-income group.

The initiative, introduced by Amanah Ikhtiar Malaysia (AIM), provides RM230 million in micro-financing support.

Anwar noted the lack of major women-focused programmes previously and praised AIM’s impact and favourable financing terms, urging wider local and international awareness of the scheme.
