Kyiv has been a very dangerous place for a number of years, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio told reporters when asked about Russia’s warning of upcoming large-scale attacks on Kyiv. Rubio stressed that Washington remains ready to take on the role of mediator between Russia and Ukraine.
IRAN: STRAIT OF HORMUZ CONTROL NOT UP FOR NEGOTIATION
Iranian control of the Strait of Hormuz is not up for negotiation the way the country’s nuclear program is, Ebrahim Azizi, head of the Iranian parliament’s National Security Committee said in an interview on Monday, stressing that once the conflict is resolved, only non-hostile traffic will be allowed through the crucial waterway.
