ANC vs IEC: Constitutional Court to rule on candidate list dispute

The Constitutional Court is expected to deliver judgment on Thursday in the ANC’s bid to have its candidates included on the ballot for the November local government elections. The party is challenging an Electoral Court ruling in favour of the Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC), which excluded its candidates from contesting elections in six municipalities.
