‘ALL AMERICANS, GET OUT!’: Iran’s New Defense Minister’s Explosive First Message To Trump | Watch
Iran’s newly approved Defence Minister Mehrdad Akhlaghi Ketabchi has warned Donald Trump that another American attack could put US personnel across the Middle East at risk. After parliament confirmed him as defence minister, Akhlaghi Ketabchi told Trump he should be thinking about getting American personnel “out of the region safely.” He also warned that if Trump “drops one bomb,” he should consider how many Americans would have to be “carried out horizontally.” The warning targets the extensive US military presence across the region and signals Tehran’s position that another confrontation would not necessarily remain confined to Iranian territory. Supreme National Security Council Secretary Mohsen Rezaei separately said Iran’s armed forces have prepared a new operational plan for another conflict that would be “more devastating” than previous rounds of fighting. Rezaei also warned that Iran’s next response would not proceed according to the “rules” its adversaries already know.
