AI generated child abuse images could soon be illegal in Massachusetts


The Massachusetts Senate passed an amendment last month that would criminalize the use of AI to create child sexual abuse material, or CSAM.

It’s a move five years in the making. Should it pass, Massachusetts would no longer be one of just four states in the country without legislation protecting children from having their images manipulated into sexually explicit material online.
