AFP: #Macron warns Lukashenko over #Belarus role in Ukraine war

AFP reports that French President Emmanuel Macron warned Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko not to escalate Minsk’s involvement in Russia’s war against Ukraine during a rare phone call on Sunday. The call comes amid concerns that Belarus could support a new Russian offensive in northern Ukraine. Kyiv has also warned of possible preparations, while Minsk continues joint nuclear drills with Moscow.
