‘Absolute lunatic’: Bernie Sanders under fire after he doubles down on Graham Platner defence

Newsweek Senior Editor-at-Large Josh Hammer blasts US Senator Bernie Sanders for having no regrets in backing former Senate candidate Graham Platner.

“It’s quite ludicrous, isn’t it? In fact, it’s almost beyond parody because the main Democratic Party itself, like the actual part that governs Democrats in the state of Maine, they have regrets,” Mr Hammer told News24 host Danica De Giorgio.

“Bernie Sanders was basically Zohran Mamdani before Zohran Mamdani was Zohran Mamdani. Bernie Sanders is an absolute lunatic.”
