‘A real worry’: Fears grow as MPs allowed Chinese EVs for private use

Sky News host Danica De Giorgio discusses Chinese electric vehicles being added for the first time to the list of taxpayer-funded cars available to federal MPs for their private use despite ASIO warnings over security issues and a looming US ban.

“This is a real worry,” Ms De Giorgio said.

“This is certainly a concern.

“We don’t know the risks; we don’t know anything about them, but don’t worry, they’re all funded by the taxpayer.”
