‘Shot in the neck to be silenced’: Utah governor threatens death penalty for Kirk’s killer

Sky News Washington Correspondent Annelise Nielsen claims Charlie Kirk was “shot in the neck to be silenced”.

“There will be people out there that want retribution for this,” Ms Nielson told Sky News host Paul Murray.

“I think whoever did do this deserves every bit of punishment that is available under the law.

“I know the Utah governor was suggesting the death penalty.

“Charlie Kirk, at the end of the day, he believed in freedom of speech, and that’s exactly why he did everything.”
