No Ukraine peace deal without Kyiv and Europe | Ukraine Brief
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha was in Warsaw on Friday, participating in a ministerial meeting of the Council of the Baltic Sea States. He has also held bilateral talks with European leaders, focusing on the continent’s role in negotiations with Russia. In the American capital on Thursday, U.S. President Donald Trump held talks on the Ukraine war with Kremlin Envoy Kirill Dmitriev. Trump now says a peace deal is coming, set to incorporate a new security architecture for Europe. Meanwhile, at least 2 people were killed and 24 wounded in Russian strikes against Ukraine over the last 24 hours, with civilian areas coming under heavy fire.
To discuss this and more, Ukraine Brief host Benjamin Lee is joined by Andrii Borovyk, Executive Director of Transparency International Ukraine.
