Abdul El-Sayed LIVE | Michigan Hands Trump Big Midterms Loss; GOP Torched In ‘Victory’ Speech

Democratic Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed fired back at Donald Trump on the eve of Election Day, turning the president’s attacks into a confident final campaign taunt. “I don’t know that Donald Trump actually knows what my name is. It’s either Abdul or Mohammed,” El-Sayed told supporters in Royal Oak. “I don’t really need him to know my name. He could just go ahead and call me Senator after tomorrow.” El-Sayed also accused his opponents of using “intimidation tactics” and division, telling the crowd his campaign was seeking to bridge divides involving geography, race, sexual orientation, gender identity and faith. “When they come for us, we won’t back down,” he said. His remarks came in the closing hours of Michigan’s heated Senate contest, with voters heading to the polls on November 3.
