US Midterms: The states that could decide control of Congress | DW News

Control of Congress is at stake as Americans vote in crucial midterm elections, with Michigan, Georgia, Maine, Iowa, New Hampshire, Texas and Ohio among the key states to watch.
The vote will shape the final two years of Donald Trump’s presidency. On Election Day, Trump also said the US would end roughly $4 billion in annual aid to Israel in 2027, while continuing to sell the country military equipment. With all 435 House seats and 35 Senate contests on the ballot, we assess the races that could decide control of Congress, the issues driving voters and the early signs to watch as results come in.
