While talks of negotiations continue, Russia strikes a passenger train | World News Tonight
Our main stories tonight:
– EUROPE DEMANDS A VOICE IN TALKS
Europe has the cards that should grant it a place at the table for the Ukraine war peace talks. This assessment from Poland’s foreign Minister, Radosław Sikorski, comes as Sweden and Norway’s heads of state talk to Vladimir Putin… and the United States again express interest in restarting the negotiations to end the war.
– RUSSIA HITS CIVILIANS IN DNIPRO
In Ukraine, at least 14 people have been killed and five others wounded after a Russian drone hit a passenger train at the Dnipro railway station. Ukraine’s railways have recently become one of the main targets of Russian strikes.
– ISRAEL AWAITS COALITION TALKS
It is still unclear who will emerge victorious from the general elections in Israel, even though the votes were cast two days ago. As it stands, the results give Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s bloc a chance at forming a government, but it’s a chance, not a guarantee.
