Judge rules Maurene Comey was fired by Trump admin unlawfully
A judge has ruled that the Trump administration’s firing of federal prosecutor Maurene Comey was unlawful. The federal judge in Manhattan has ordered the Justice Department to retroactively reinstate Comey. The ruling includes back pay from the date of her firing until December 20, 2025, the date she transitioned to a position at a private law firm.
