IFP President Velenkosini Hlabisa has raised concerns over the instability of coalition governance in various municipalities, but has hailed the City of uMhlathuze Municipality as a prime example of a working coalition.
He sights that under the IFP’s governance, the city of uMhlathuze has achieved clean audit outcomes and service delivery is well on its way to recovery.
The municipality has been undergoing major water and electricity challenges over the years, however Hlabisa has assured that solid plans have been made to rectify these issues.
