Cambridge’s Carnival International kept the party going despite rain, with dancing in Central Square

Sunday showers couldn’t extinguish the 32nd iteration of Cambridge’s Carnival International, including a parade that weaved through Central Square.

To cope, marchers donned ponchos and DJs covered their decks and speakers under tarps. But as the parade made its way down River Street, some seemed perfectly happy dancing in the rain. The festivities capped off with vendors, smoking grills, and main stage performances at University Park Commons.
