Sole survivor of deadly mushroom lunch appears in court
The sole survivor of Erin Patterson’s deadly mushroom lunch, Ian Wilkinson, has arrived in court for her appeal. One of the convictions that Patterson is appealing is the attempted murder of Wilkinson.
Erin Patterson is back in court for a two-day hearing to fight to quash her murder convictions. In July 2025, a jury found the 51-year-old mother guilty of serving four members of her estranged husband’s family beef wellingtons laced with death cap mushrooms in 2023 – three of which died and another miraculously survived. #ErinPatterson #IanWilkinson #appeal #court
