Wildberries’ biggest problem? No warehouses left | Break the Fake
Wildberries is having a very hot summer.
Ukraine’s month-long campaign against the Russian e-commerce giant has now hit its largest logistics facilities, including a massive 250,000-square-meter warehouse in Koledino near Podolsk, around 420 km from the Ukrainian border. A second Wildberries facility in Domodedovo was also reportedly hit the same night. Since July, seven of Wildberries’ ten largest hubs have reportedly been taken out of operation. The company says it’s now “restructuring supply chains,” while Russian sellers are left facing destroyed inventory, massive losses and potential bankruptcy.
Join Jonasz Rewiński in the new episode of Break The Fake to find out how Wildberries went from an e-commerce empire to Russia’s hottest logistics story – and why this “fire sale” could have consequences far beyond the warehouses.
