A bus carrying Polish pilgrims crashed into a ditch on Hungary’s M3 motorway at around 1 a.m. Sunday. Twelve people were killed, while ten others were hospitalized with serious injuries. Poland’s Road Transport Inspectorate is set to examine the company that owns the bus, and prosecutors have also launched an investigation.

Hundreds of Ukrainians have rallied in Kyiv demanding the return of former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, one month after his dismissal. Supporters credit him with modernizing Ukraine’s military and improving its ability to strike Russian infrastructure.
