Activists lament inaction on GBVF
Some organisations fighting against Gender-Based Violence and Femicide in the country say the classification of the scourge as a national disaster has brought little change on the ground.
GBVF was classified as a national disaster in November last year by President Cyril Ramaphosa.
The organisations say government has failed to prioritise and lead the fight against GBVF.
On Monday, the President announced the members of the National Council on GBVF to strengthen the fight against the crisis.
