Over 2300 South African-owned Spaza shops have been approved for government funding
More than 2,300 South African spaza shop owners in all 9 provinces have been approved for R179 million from government’s R500 million Spaza Shop Support Fund.
Spaza shop owners have been urged to formally register their businesses with municipalities in order to qualify for funding and operational know-how, to help entrench efficiencies in their enterprises.
