Higher Education | SAQA removes over 1 100 outdated qualifications
South Africa’s education and training landscape is undergoing its most massive overhaul in over a decade.
This is after the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) removed more than 1 100 outdated “legacy” qualifications from the national register.
Authorities say this is aimed to phase out some old courses and realign skills development with a modern, rapidly shifting job market.
