Vance on Trump endorsing Paxton
We watched today as Vice President JD Vance took over for White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt as she remains away from her position after the birth of her second child. During the briefing, Vance was asked about President Donald Trump endorsing Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton over incumbent Sen. John Cornyn. Vice President Vance went on to explain that Trump is endorsing Paxton over Cornyn because he believes Paxton will be a “better senator”.
