Two new polls on voter confidence suggest many voters remain undecided on the impact of the federal budget, with one of them showing a dip in popularity for Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.
The Resolve Political Monitor survey shows the primary vote for Labor has declined and projects the preferred prime minister is Angus Taylor, after the government proposed the contentious tax policy.
