Energy crisis a wake-up call for Africa: AU
The African Union development agency NEPAD CEO Nardos Bekele-Thomas says the current energy crisis should be a wake-up call for Africa.
A number of countries on the continent are facing fuel shortages due to the hostilities in the Middle East, albeit with a shaky ceasefire.
Bekele-Thomas spoke to SABC News on the sidelines of the celebration of 25 years since NEPAD was formed.
