Trump asked if he’ll wear a bulletproof vest and if he’s concerned about more assassination attempts
Despite there being several assassination attempts against President Donald Trump’s life in recent years, the idea of wearing a bulletproof vest is one that the leader has looked at with some doubt.
When asked whether there was talk about him wearing the protective garment during a press conference at the Oval Office on Thursday, April 30, Trump said his choice not to wear the vest was purely aesthetic.
“I don’t know if I can handle looking 20 pounds heavier,” Trump told reporters.
