“My mother has a crush on Charles,” Donald Trump jokingly remarked, evoking laughter from the audience. The U.S. President welcomed King Charles III and Queen Camilla to the White House, as the British royals began their state visit. The king shook hands with members of Trump’s Cabinet before joining the president for a rendition of the national anthem.
