Trump releases security video of shooting suspect, calls gunman ‘sick’ at press conference
Shortly after an armed suspect was shot at the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner, President Donald Trump posted surveillance video of the gunman running inside the hotel before shots were fired at hime.
Trump was evacuated from the event and attendees dropped to the floor after those gunshots were heard inside the Washington Hilton hotel. At a White House press conference later that same night, Trump labeled the shooting suspect “sick.” Law enforcement agents identified the suspect as 31-year-old Cole Tomas Allen, of Torrance, California,
